Hareline Dubbin offers a great variety of Marabou colors. These are high-quality feathers, with incredibly bright, consistent color. Quills can be between 3-6 inches and can vary between packages.
The tips are fine and are perfect for tying that special jig or fly.
Each ounce will typically tie between 50-150 jigs depending on the fullness and usage of the marabou. (These results can vary.)
Fish are drawn to bite marabou feathers because of the living, breathing, pulsating action marabou provides.
This will trigger their feeding instinct. Bass, walleye, trout, steelhead, crappie and anything that swims will take these jigs. Marabou jigs are easy to fish and tie. Float them, cast them or drift them in deep or shallow water will produce the fish you are after. Once you tie your jigs, they can also be tipped with live bait to intrigue the fish even more. Common live baits used are: maggots, wax worms, night crawlers and minnows, to name a few. Experiment with baits from your local area to entice fish.
