Hi - my name is Scott.  I am the sole proprietor of Chagrin Jigs.

I'm an avid lifetime fisherman and started tying jigs a few years ago for steelhead fishing. After having great success with them, I decided to start selling them for others to use and enjoy!    Over the past few years I have been slowly offering different types of products.   

When I first started selling, it was all about making the finished product, the fully tied jig.  Learning and talking to people, I learned of the large interest for people to make their own creations.  So increased my catalog to include my round head jigs pre-painted.   

Time can be my most enemy, being the only person for Chagrin Jigs, having a fulltime job and family, so adding additional offerings has been slow. 

Over the course of 2024, I will start to include non-painted jigs heads.  I am also expanding the offering to include more than just the round heads.  Stay tuned and stop back often to see if new products have been added.  Any questions, you can always reach me via the Contact Us link at the bottom of the page.

For my tied jigs, I currently only tie the round head jigs in the weights of 3/8 oz, 1/4 oz, 1/8 oz, 1/16 oz, 1/32 oz and 1/64 oz.  I offer 2 hook styles.  A standard hook which offers decent strength and a premium hook which offers 2X strength.   

The standard hooks are Mustad, bronze finished, regular bend Aberdeen.

The premium hooks are Mustad Double Strength Aberdeen Hook and is specifically designed for Steelhead and Salmon fishing. This is a very strong hook. The eye of the hook is shorter than comparable hooks to produce more point exposure and more hookups.
